Ultimate skincare must-haves for 2019

Skincare is essential for all of us; we want products that can keep our skin calm and free from any kind of blemishes. There is no harm in trying out new products and discarding old products. This is the ultimate skincare must-haves list that you’ll ever require.

Personally, I love to switch products in my skincare routine every month and it is necessary as our skin changes every day. At one of point of my life, the face wash I used to clear up acne dried out my skin as I no longer had acne and it caused irritation so I had to switch to something else — which could be beneficial for my skin at that moment.

I created up a list of a few skincare products that can restore the texture of your skin, make you look fresh, clean and glowy at all times. There will be in—depth review of each product and how it worked out for me and what benefits it contains.

WANDER BEAUTY lift off Purifying and Brightening Peel off Mask

skincare must haves

A wonderful peel off mask that does wonders to your skin! I received this product in my boxycharm last month. It is one of the strongest peel off masks that I own. The packaging is small and cute, the color of it reflects what is inside.

The mask itself is pinky at first and then it dries off to something light purple. It is packed with blueberry, green tea, and lychee extracts. It has a cute scent of a fruity yogurt – nothing too strong.

The mask itself is known to absorb excess oil, cleanse and purify your skin. It is a very strong mask, therefore, I would recommend using it twice a month. Regular use of this mask can loosen your skin as it is quite harsh peel off mask.

Using it around your T–zone is an amazing option too. It can get rid of that extra sebum and blackheads around your nose.

St. Ives Acne Control Apricot Scrub

skincare must haves

One of the oldest products that I still use to this date. The St. Ives Acne Control Scrub contains Salicylic acid which is known to fight acne and reduce blemishes. It is an effective scrub that has tiny grain particles.

I have been using for over a year, and after a long day of work or traveling, I tend to apply this scrub. It leaves my skin soft and smooth effortlessly. A tub of this product goes a long way and you can use this on your body as well especially on areas where a lot of dirt is stuck, i.e.; neck and chest.

It is quite easy to find this scrub in the market and it affordable too! It is apricot scented and the texture of it is perfectly creamy. If you are suffering from dry skin then this scrub will flake that off too.

GLAMGLOW Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment

skincare must haves

This is a great product if your skin is lacking hydration. Not only it hydrates but it also moisturizes and restores your skin. It is perfect for someone who is suffering from dry skin or someone who is settled in a cold area.

I love using this product in both winters and summers as it avoids my skin to dry out. It feels amazing on the skin and you don’t even have to rinse it off! It takes time to soak into your skin by itself. You can massage your face while using this product.

It isn’t harsh at all instead it soothes your skin. It is completely worth the hype and I would recommend this mask to anyone who travels a lot or who has dry skin.

Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner

skincare must haves

I don’t know if it is just me but I constantly change my toners depending on my skin’s condition. One of the favorite toners that I have stuck along with is the Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner.

It is a gentle toner that is alcohol-free and oil-free so it doesn’t leave your skin irritated or tightened as most toners do. This toner does the job of getting rid of any leftover impurities, dirt and it also helps in restoring your skin’s Ph levels.

It is quite cheap and effective which is the reason why it is included in my ultimate skincare list! It doesn’t bother your skin regardless of what skin problems you have.

I use this toner after cleaning my face and before applying a moisturizer.

Tarte tarteguard 30 sunscreen lotion

skincare must haves

The tarteguard lotion is one of my favorite sunscreens I use before going outside without makeup. It comes in a super cute purple packaging and it smells great too! It is a non–chemical sunscreen and it could be a lifesaver for people with extremely sensitive skin who have allergic reactions to any kind of sunscreens.

The formula is lightweight and it does the job of protecting your skin from the sun. It doesn’t leave a white cast on your skin and it soaks in effortlessly. It is also known to prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

A bit of this sunscreen lotion goes a long way and it is easily available in most Sephora stores across the world.

Neutrogena Naturals Face and Body Bar

skincare must haves

This soap is completely natural and it doesn’t contain any kind of harsh chemicals which is the best part! Like most soaps, this doesn’t leave your skin flaky and dried out. It calms down your skin and restores its natural moistures leaving your skin silky and smooth.

I mainly use this soap for my body, I have tried it out for my face too and if you suffer from cystic acne or bumps then this is a holy–grail for you because it does wonders!

The price is affordable and it lasts a long way. I highly recommend using this soap while showering and it works for all skin types. It has a super fresh feel and it is organic!

GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment

skincare must haves

I have already reviewed one of GlamGlow’s products earlier but I couldn’t help adding this one to the list too. The GLAMGLOW supermud clearing treatment contains activated charcoal and research has been conducted to find out that about 94% of users using this treatment felt that it cleared out their skin gently after their first use.

The mask is amazing and the packaging is great too – very convenient to take it around if you are traveling. It shrinks pimples therefore if you are suffering from acne then you should go ahead and try this mask out. Not only that, it helps in cleaning, getting rid of dirt and excessive oil from your skin.

It has an instant bright effect that you will be able to notice after using this product. I love using this when I am under a lot of stress and it helps in lightening my blemishes and pulling out the dirt from clogged pores.

It isn’t cheap but it is really effective so the product pays off the price!

Aquaphor Healing Ointment

skincare must haves

This is one of my necessities and whenever I run out of this product, I run to the store to get it. Having the Aquaphor healing ointment at home can be really helpful. It deals with healing dry, cracked, irritated and many other skin problems such as rosacea or eczema.

It soothes and restores healthy skin. If you suffer from common inflammations or cuts very often then I suggest getting this ointment for yourself. Skincare is self–care.

It has a similar consistency as Vaseline but works differently. It is also known to heal tattoos quickly. My small brother has extremely dry skin and using this product really solves the issue so it can be useful even if you have children.

It works on baby diaper rashes, dry feet, and hands, scars, dry lips, etc. It has a gel kind of texture but it soaks in, leaving no residues. The moisture on your skin stays for a very long time so you won’t require a moisturizer.

Josie Maran Argan Oil

skincare must haves

I guess we all have heard about Argan Oil and the benefits it carries for skin, hair, and body. The Josie Maran Argan oil is 100% pure and it doesn’t contain any kind of harsh chemicals like Parabens or Sulfates.

I was a bit hesitant to try out oils on my skin a few years back but then I came across this. This product absorbs into the skin quickly so you won’t feel sticky or oily.

As of now, I use this oil under my eyes and wherever I have fine lines, I also use it around my cuticles to prevent them from peeling out – because we all know how much that hurts!

If you suffer for constant hair fall then use a few drops of this oil and in a couple of weeks, your hair will regrow and become healthier than ever!

It is very rich in Vitamin E and there hasn’t been a single day that has gone by without me using this product somewhere on my body. During winters, you can slather this on your face and fear not about breaking out.
